Fully expecting Barry but won't complain either way.

Gibson is giving us an option in the league. I'd go Barry to keep us solid on Thursday and then Gibbo Sunday to open up QPR. Otherwise they'll try and sit back and hit us on the break. He will unlock them.

Would seem sensible mate.

Very sensible post. Gibson was excellent today and helped push the team forward, but horses for courses...........

He can't run and got in trouble in defense a couple times methinks. However he didn't committ dumb fouls like Barry has often done at least.

Did you notice how Rom's touch was eh not so bad when it was Gibson getting the ball to him?

Martinez has a big decision to make on Thursday, we only need a draw. Do you play Barry for his experience in big games or Gibson because he provides the greater goal threat. He could play them both with McCarthy and Osman. Play Lukaku and Kobe up front. Mirellas and Naismith on the bench to change things if they get a couple of goals.
I think we will see Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Naismith all play mate - bags of energy with a sprinkling of experience (Barry)

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Baines
Besic McCarthy Barry
Mirrallas Lukaku Naismith

He looked completely fit yesterday. Legged after every loose ball. Never flinched a tackle. First time I can ever recall him being unaffected by his fitness issues.

He can run a game on his own when he's at the top of his game. If he wants to speed a game up he will, if he wants to slow it down he will. Personally think Gibson and McCarthy should be our '2' in midfield until the end of the Season.
