Spot on.Personally never doubted his ability but the fact is he is the least likely of all our players to be able to play 10 matches in a few months without breaking down for ages. Sad but true. Just wish we could keep him fit as he is a bloody good player.
He was written off on here and I still I have doubts over his fitness (different to his injuries) but he showed last night the creative aspect we have been missing from our midfield. I don't think I've ever seen Barkley play a through ball.
Meh, they are crap doesn't count.against Young Boys last week

Must have Barry's place....must have.......
Stop shoehorning Naismith on the wing!! He's not good enough to play there!! Not technical enough and can't pass properlyNah, not for me mate. Barry and McCarthy are showing how effective their partnership is again. Depends on the opposition but at home against west broms etc I'd go
McCarthy Barry
Gibson
Lennon/Kev Lukaku Naismith
Against top sides at home who will come at us:
McCarthy Barry
Barkley
Lennon/Kev Lukaku Naismith
Hes got a big part to play has Gibson, fitness and provided, but he isn't the solution to all of our problems. He is a different option though and should be used intelligently by the manager depending on the type of game.
