I went on a 1st date last week...i accepted in the morning despite having a massive hangover and feeling sick....still a bit tipsy too and reeking.

We met in a sports bar, 35 year old single mum...looked quite similar to Megan Markle...whose not my type.

Was a lunch date and her day off...i watched her eating this salmon whilst refusing anything as i felt like vomitimg...so just sat in silence mostly as she talked away. Randomly she asked if i could do impressions so i did a few accents...

I suggested somewhere else and we took a cab there...on the way she mentioned she could really smell alcohol on my breath (probably dried sweat too)...

Couldnt stomach a bar so went to an outdoor coffee shop...sat there and chatted and i told her i could really do with a jacuzzi...she asked if i wanted to go home and cut things short as i was pretty messed up lol

Anyway i said id rather do something but didnt quite know what to do...she suggested massages so we went to a hotel spa area nearby + i said i was feeling too rough for massages so we chose the jacuzzi in a private room...was about £35 an hour which is quite expensive here.

We were given robes...but really whats the use? They came off before we entered the jets.

Definite recommendation.



Afterwards i said i had to go home as i was feeling much better but tired...she gave me a quick peck and i told her to message me when she got home...and off i went

That night..messages asking when i was free (told her i was busy with work so 1-2 weeks later)...next day the same etc etc...and again until Friday when...nothing :)

So for all intents and purposes i think its a successful date location :)

To be fair, I think it probably is. Go somewhere respectable and the clothes come off. It's only a short step or two away from getting down to business.

To be honest I think the fact i was well mannered and behaved but looked totally wrecked and stank probably backed me up on needing a bath / jacuzzi lol

Will have to try it sober with someone else and see how that goes down...

I think you've read the correct way into the the situation.

im not after a one night stand , shes a lovely girl, who quite rightly has other priorities like her job and young kids , we just met to see if there was a mutual attraction, which id say there defo has been … we got on really well too, I had her laughing , which is always a good sign..

as she is working till Tuesday night and having to flip shifts , we are going to go for some brunch weds morning … im off all week as my course has been put back a week due to lack of tutors..

weve spoken on the phone and been txting but nothing over the top … it all feels right
