Reckon he could get close to our first team mate? Soon I mean.
I doubt it, I think he will struggle physically and with the pace of the premiership at the moment. He needs to go out on loan and play with teammates. He sometimes tries to do too much on the ball. Just my opinion, but I think another 12 months before he is considered. Technically he is very good.

I remember trying to find exact numbers last summer, but by all accounts he's missed out on significant match time due to his strained relationship with Anderlecht and subsequent loan to Monaco. It's a reasonable guess that last season was his first in a few with uninterrupted training and regular matches.

He seems quite happy to get the faith as well. All things considered, he'll grow up with us, count as home grown (trained for 3 years since 18) Everton academy alumni. Seems like a less mercurial Deulofeu type, definetly needs to get the experience in but not sure if loaning is the right thing for him.

I'd rather keep him in the team and maybe give him an optimistic stint in the league cup and the occasional 10 minutes in the league games. after all, we need to get our proper wingers out there, and we might be thin on them considering both Mirallas and McGeady are out the door, with Pienaar pretty much past it.

The good thing is he has had a year here already, so has obviously shown signs that he can become a first teamer in the future, otherwise no point bringing him back full time.

.....the Galloway bromance might be really healthy in driving each other to success. I am managing expectation in saying it's a massive step up, especially for a forward but his movement is really good (in the mould of a Thierry Henry the way he peels off his marker and invites the through ball).

I recently read a quote attributed to a coach at Man Utd when both Rooney and Ronaldo where there. He said there was a significant difference in that Ronaldo wanted to learn and be the best in the world. Ronaldo worked incredibly hard at his game whereas Rooney did his training and went home. As a result 'Ronaldo would get in the world X1 of every coach but Rooney wouldn't'. Whilst we would love another Rooney, the lesson is that Henen has the tools for success but now needs to work really hard.
