Back on Topic, I watch LFC v NUFC last night.

Pardew played Ba on his own up front.

Gave me a little indication of how Ba would look in a blue shirt.

He looked like Anichebe, Saha, Vellios - anyone we shove up there on their tod.

Tactics...

Everton played some lovely flowing football a few seasons ago with the midget gems a firing Yakubu and a vibrant Cahill- based on a rock solid defence.

Whether Arteta was sold by his say so or the banks and whether Pienaar was sell before he walks for nothing- we have little to no creativity.

We need someone who can put their foot on the ball and dictate play as well as what is blindingly obvious of a striker that can score.

IF and its a big If- Arteta was still here and playing well and Saha was on form what would the difference be?! We are hard to beat- no one has given us a spanking and the most amount of goals we have conceded is 3 and that was once away to Chelsea- as I write this Man U are losing 3-2 to Blackburn, Blackburn FFS.

It has been dour but Moyes is playing to what he knows- be hard to beat and the pretty football comes secondary. To play pretty football you need the players, to get players you need money.

Everyone thinks they can be a boss manager because of Football Manager and other computer games but the reality is Moyes has produced teams that have competed in the Premier League- on little to know money we have finished 4th and a handful of times in the top 6/7.

We have a good defence and decent players in midfield- in my opinion we are missing 3 quality players to compete again.

Money talks and I really hope Moyes does get some and get his passion back again.

true but is it also ok to play players out of form? what incentive does that give you or kick up the arse if your playing bad but your guaranteed a place in the next prem team?

furthermore why play players out of position and if he obides by his 4=5=1 rule he should build a team to fit that formation not put 6 defenders onto a pitch and play every other player out of position bar fellini and an out of form saha u front

When Neville get relegated to the bench I will start begin to warm up to the Moyes philosophy again until then everything is not right with the club. Out of form and unfit should warm the bench if not Moyes isn't doing what is expected and the average fan is waking up to the matter.

Moyes philosophy was summed up at Sunderland Neville/Heitinga in midfield and McFadden coming on as sub.

Ross Barkley warming the bench - made one mistake a Blackburn and not seen since . Velios top scorer also warming the bench.

This is the manager on £67,000 FFS playing same formation/tatics every game - Moyes and Kenwright out.

Laughable. Its gone up has it?!

And Fellaini and Rodwell are injured FFS. - Add this to the sale of Arteta and Pienaar. Plus Barkley is NOT ready hes only 18 FFS.

Honestly. Some of these posts are getting more and more ridiculous.

I agree. Some of your posts are getting more ridiculous. Like saying Barkley isn't ready and McFadden should get a game before him for example.

Try and pull it back a bit mate, people will cotton on that you're deliberately popcorning at this rate.

If he genuinely does believe what he's saying I just wish he'd be a bit less arrogant about it.

I can deal with opposing opinions -- that's what forums and debate as a whole are all about surely? -- but presenting them with a veneer of pompous, self-righteousness and laughing off everyone that opposes your point of view with ostentatious digs and pats on your own back only makes you look like a massive bellend.

Of course it's also a fantastic popcorning technique so I'm going to give Damo the benefit of the doubt and say that he isn't a genuine contrarian, he's just a master popcorner. I'm choosing to believe that anyway.

You're lying to yourself mate.

He isn't ready. As explained on the other thread.
