Made me laugh this.

His reaction reminds me of the kind of guy that's always at the bar in the local, and when he's not he's hanging around a playground. A really creepy/delusional feel about it. Like the kind of person you'd give a token laugh just to avoid making a conversation awkward.

Nothing quite like gifting West Ham a bit of false hope, mind. Ideally they'll keep him long enough to go down.

That's the issue with signing all the big name signings when the club hasn't got the jacobs to back it up - it's the Payet situation again, where the expensive players have no interest in a relegation battle, and potentially see their relegation clauses as the only way to get out (see also, Newcastle under FSW)
