The conference cup is good grounding for Europe.
Team get used to playing contental side, managers tactics evolve, and the club as a whole starts to see the necessasity of squad building.
We see it time and time again that a club succeeds one season and then struggles the following season because European football and the premier league grind the squad down and clubs can’t repeat the success in the league the following season.
It’s a good dry run for building a better club with a future.
Sevilla have been a great side in Europe without challenging Barca and Madrid. Realistically in modern football that would be our ceiling

Exactly, it builds momentum and experience in Europe and will attract players to us alot more than us staying up on the last day of the season.

We have only the ceiling we put upon ourselves.
