2024/25 David Moyes

Press conferences dont win you games, but that was a positive delivery. Spoke well, focused on the job in hand, left subtle hints to some of the players that they need to step up, particularly those nearing the end of their contract too!! He also seemed a little confident of possible funds for transfers too! All in all, came across well there and he does seem like he’s chomping at the bit to make necessary changes within the club.

I have seen us win the league four times and I have seen us play in 7 finals in the flesh. However, the last time we actually won a final was almost 3 decades ago.

We have only been to one final in the last 29 years and that was under Moyes. We are undoubtedly a huge club.
However, the job that Moyes did was truly stunning, hence why he then went to arguably the biggest club in the world off the back of it.

I feel that he is the stabilising force that we need ahead of our move to the fourth grace of the Liverpool waterfront.

Seen the squad train this morning and is penning his resignation.

I’ve been feeling fairly disappointed in the appointment but that press conference cheered me up a bit , you’re right it means nothing but its a start
