2024/25 David Moyes

I can definitely believe that. It's his stock in trade at Everton.

As you know, I'm still of the opinion he's very short term. He'll get a big drink off TFG and they'll wish him well and get their own man in.

What owner comes in and spends hundreds of millions on a football club then dont get their own men in? Moyes, as everyone knows, was Kenwright's manager. He'll forever be that at Everton. TFG discard managers like confetti, that's their M.O. in the relatively short period of time they've owned football clubs and they want any future success associated with them not by allowing the owner before last's man to deliver it.
Hmmm, they appointed Ranieri…

Post Dyche the football has still been terrible but we've had a few moments of luck go for us and moments like DCL's world beating 5-second cameo to help get us the results.

Beat Leicester and we will be about ten points clear of the drop zone.

If that comes to pass, then it will have been some turnaround to be fair.
Yep, would be a 10 point gap depending on how Wolves & Ipswich do with 15 games left to play for us/14 for the others. Would be a big step, but still a long way to go, and far too soon to get excited.

We've still got Ipswich & Saints to play at home, but Leics is an absolute must win if we want to open up a gap. Could well be the most important game of the season so far.

Leicester will pack their defence and look to hit us on the break like Forest recently did. We are not exactly blessed with the personnel to open teams up and it will be a cagey nervy game from our POV.

Defo a cagey game but seriously believe Moyes tactics being superior to Dyche will see us through this game
Me thinks it'll only be a cagey game if we allow it to be so. We're at home, start with a 6 point advantage, 40k fans hopefully roaring the team on - we should be after them from the first whistle; assert ourselves and try and get some early goals like we did against Tottenham.

Leics are not a great side, its a huge opportunity to put a big gap between the teams around us; no need to play cowardball like Dyche when they've lost 7 of their last 8 I think it is, so lets take the wind out their sails and make a big statement that we're moving away from the dropzone.
