2024/25 David Moyes

"Yeah, it's a very difficult market right about now. But these players have been nothing but fully committed since we got back at Aaayyver-un. We go with what we've got."

We'll hear the latest retreat comment tomorrow concerning transfers:

"It's really difficult for wor right now; but if we believe we can get a player who can add quality we'll look at it".

Heard it for 11 years when he covered up for Kenwright and I'm fully expecting to hear it again tomorrow.

Moyes is a company man.

Apparently we'd have had a few in, like Nuamah if it wasn't for Moyes.

I don't think Moyes would front for them - if anything, he'd probably see value/benefit in low expectations. If we spent a few bob this window and didn't improve by the summer, is he the right man to progress us from the summer?

I still think we'll see at least 2 come in, I think they'll have some lined up and options will change depending the likes of Beto.

Are you suggesting here he wouldn't mind no money being spent January as that would increase expectations on him? 🤨

Still waiting for @davek to let us all know how he doesn’t afford Moyes the same leniency he did for ex kopite manager and belittler of Everton FC, old tapas tits.

Tick tock David old chap!

Moyes tried to buy Baines and @davek sees being a 'miserable ol' grudge holding git' as 'consistent' 🤣

He`ll just ignore it, like he always does when he`s presented with his outright lies and hypocrisy.

Nobody with half a brain disagrees with either of these posts.

Moyes took the proverbial out of us as a club and a fanbase when he left. Some are happy to forget. That's fine but don't go re-writing history.

Post Dyche the football has still been terrible but we've had a few moments of luck go for us and moments like DCL's world beating 5-second cameo to help get us the results.
Let's say Moyes' legacy at this club will be a chequered one...

Ridiculous: it's nt a contradiction my position n Moyes. I've already said I back him to get us safe. Ilm not agitating for him to be sacked al long as he's keeping us safe for the rest of the season. I've said that we'll probably see the back of him in the summer anyway as he and hi staff look like short term appointments and TFG will want their own man in to create their own history at this club.

Happy to clarify so that you can put your crayons away.

I can definitely believe that. It's his stock in trade at Everton.

As you know, I'm still of the opinion he's very short term. He'll get a big drink off TFG and they'll wish him well and get their own man in.

What owner comes in and spends hundreds of millions on a football club then dont get their own men in? Moyes, as everyone knows, was Kenwright's manager. He'll forever be that at Everton. TFG discard managers like confetti, that's their M.O. in the relatively short period of time they've owned football clubs and they want any future success associated with them not by allowing the owner before last's man to deliver it.

Moyes is their man if you like it or not. They sacked dyche, then appointed Moyes. They've had ample time to line up a manager, you know since it took a while to buy us. They got Moyes. He'll be here for thr duration of his deal, maybe longer if he does well.
