2024/25 David Moyes

We 10000% would've lost todays game under Dyche. We'd have tried to shut up shop at 1-0 and would've inevitably ended up losing 2-1. You can say whatever you want about Moyes and how uninspiring an appointment he was but the fact of the matter is that a thousand times the manager that Dyche could ever dream of being!

The football today in the first half was light years ahead of anything served up in the last 4/5 years.
Hopefully Moyes can get some players in the bench is awful.
Better than the football we played away at Brighton to win 5-1?

This was a depleted Spurs team. They were there for the taking if we played a decent level of football.

We were so much braver on the ball today - especially in the first half. Like night and day to how Dyche set the team up. Maybe that'll make us more open but we need to be. Have belief it'll be us scoring more goals and not the opposition.

We caught Brighton cold on the counter attack for every goal that day. We controlled that first half today playing football, Spurs couldn’t land a glove on us, depleted or not.

I’m happy, just surprised to see him still playing safe when we could/should have been out of sight.
Nearly cost us the win there by playing 6 defenders against a team with two out of position centre backs - there was absolutely no need

The players should have got us out of site, there’s no much Moyes can do about that.

What are his options on the bench? Jack Harrison?

We’re in a relegation battle so not bothered how we see games out aslong as we pick up wins.
