Better than the football we played away at Brighton to win 5-1?
This was a depleted Spurs team. They were there for the taking if we played a decent level of football.
Cheer up Dave, Everton won today.

Look at the state of that Spurs team today they were forced put out...and they nearly got a draw.We caught Brighton cold on the counter attack for every goal that day. We controlled that first half today playing football, Spurs couldn’t land a glove on us, depleted or not.
Eh, there's no one more delighted than me.Cheer up Dave, Everton won today.

We were close to throwing away a 3 goal lead cos he decided to play 6 defenders rather than captilise on their suspect cb's (Davis and Archie Gray!!!) and keep the momentum going. We could have had any of BEto/Armstrong/Harrison on for Doucs/DCL/Lindstrom and I guarantee you it would not have been nearly so nervy at the end at the lads get a run out up front with the pressure off.The players should have got us out of site, there’s no much Moyes can do about that.
What are his options on the bench? Jack Harrison?
We’re in a relegation battle so not bothered how we see games out aslong as we pick up wins.
...and then he tried to engineer a draw with his substitutes.Better manger gets players playing better football.
Lots will be said about Spurs injuries, a very expensively assembled side with an embarrassments of riches with or without key players, one that Everton can only dream currently.
Took the game to Spurs in which they could not cope.
Considering what happened at home to Bournemouth and Villa away, I think today is massive. We would have crumbled if the red tramp was in charge.Look at the state of that Spurs team today they were forced put out...and they nearly got a draw.

Behave......and then he tried to engineer a draw with his substitutes.
Nothing changed in that respect with him. He was never known for his astute substitutes.
Good to see you in here supporting the Everton manager. Proud of you xDid his best to bollocks that up with his defensive switches late on.
Indeed! Really isnt an exact science, this football larkI love how every time a team is struggling the argument is 'nobody can get these lads to play' and more often than not, it's proven false time after time.
What I would say there is the bench is terrible, I’m sure players will be brought in next week that will strengthen us to see out games more effectively. We staggered over the line mate. If there was 2 minutes more on the clock they'd have equalised.
