2024/25 David Moyes

I see that the embarrassing lemon is showing himself up again. Fuming because we played the best football, we have all season in the first half and managed to break the habit we've built in recent years by not entirely collapsing when under pressure during the second half. Quelle surprise, just another day in the life of the court jester of GOT..........

Liked the attacking patterns and 3 at the back. Davie took 2 weeks to improve a squad that SD said he had taken as far as he could. Basically proved that Thelwell brought in capable players that SD was too limited as a coach and organize effectively.
People forget due to the post-Man Utd memeing of Moyes, but before he went there he was seen as one of the best managers in the game.

Somehow due to that blunder he got lumped in with the Pulis types, etc. Even during his successful period at West Ham the stench wasn’t completely eradicated.

This club is a much better platform given its status as a true fallen giant. Everton has a higher ceiling and he’s joining at a very good time given how there is now positivity back around the place.

Some good points there, mate.

Are you keeping your current name, or are you going to change it to: 'JobCurrentlyInProgressByTheMoyes'?

Football management had changed a lot in the recent years - in the past every coach and manager are considered interchangeable, assistants and coaches usually outstay their managers when they were sacked. Now you don't just sign a manager but you sign his team, everyone come everyone go as a package.

He didn't have any of his right hand men at United or Real Sociedad.
