2024/25 David Moyes

Necessary because losing to the likes of Southampton, Newcastle (relegation candidate at the time), Burnley, Wolves - draws Watford, Brentford.

We all remember Palace, but we lost to Brentford at home the game before after taking the lead twice. The season we were pissing away 2-0 leads to lose to Burnley.

We sacked Benitez 6 points above the drop, and 16th. Lampard come in and didn't improve us, so if we're giving him credit, in reality - he did less than Benitez.

Then in Lampards full season, he left us on our knees - 19th and lowest ever points total in our history going into Feb.

Nice guy, though eh.

Sadly he wa probably our worst ever manager, worse than walker?

Ahhh the good ol' days when Walker was the standout worst manager in our history.

Now so much choice ... hopefully Moyes's return has broken the other candidates for that title. But Fat Ron, Fathead Sean, Fat Spanish Waiter, Fat Scam and Fat Frank were pretty bad. And Martinez and Silva get away with a lot as they could both slip into the top 5 of worst managers if we were asking the same question pre-Moyes mk. 1.

You`re bringing Dyche into this on purpose aren`t you

It’s quite intriguing to see an enthused Moyes Cult from a few start up so early. Nice to see some Everton optimism although I note some hefty over compensation from some, who coincidentally were the biggest Dyche haters.

I’ll have to ponder this phenomenon some before coming to any conclusions.
He's gone and I am thankful.

If he had stayed our chances of being relegated would have increased exponentially.

Ponder away you scribe.

I’m in my strategic phase where I observe trends and strong emotions before marginalising another thought group on our beloved forum pal. It’s a tough job hut skmoke gotta do it.

You’re all very welcome.
