Davide Ancelotti

So let's get this straight you're all for Bielsa or Dyche? One that has a style of play clearly not suited to any of our players (what the hell is Onana going to think of someone just whipping him to run faster - so say goodbye to another of our decent players in the summer) or the other who won 3 out of 30 games last season with a team he built over many seasons. Both don't seem to have much pull to get in top players...

Pretty sure Bielsa has pull but yes I would take either of those with 18 games to go when we’re joint bottom than a guy who has never managed a side in his life.

I hope I’m not the only one.

Duncan has more managerial experience than Davide, who's father also rated Duncan highly as a coach and wanted him to join his coaching team at Madrid. But for many, including myself, he wasn't worth considering. He needed to cut his teeth elsewhere first.

It really is the exotic names people are seduced by.

Of all candidates mentioned he represents the biggest risk at this time. Has to be a non-starter.

Why would Dunc turn down being a coach at Real Madrid?

I mean, I’d have Ancelotti, as it’s the element of the unknown, and who knows it could be a master stroke.

There’s to many risks for me though, and I think it’s a complete non-story, why are we approaching the day before we want to appoint? Nonsense.

But just to clear something up, Ancelotti has been in backroom staff for teams which have won leagues and Champions League’s. He has the same pull Paul Clement had. It may or may not work out.

Duncan, by contrast, had been a permanent member of failed backroom staff; and we witnessed first hand that his tactics weren’t very good.
.
So it’s partly desperation, but intrigue for why people May want him. There is none of that with Ferguson.

Just getting on record so if we do fall even faster with one of these and Davide goes on to be a class manager it is all there for prosperity.

FWIW I don't know if he would be any good but I believe each of these carries large amounts of risk. There isn't one that you can say we are saved if they come. We might be on the end of some hidings with Bielsa and if we haven't got some wins first the confidence will crash and we could be done for by early March. Dyche probably keeps us in games but if we still can't score it isn't going to make much difference and I do believe fans will turn on him much quicker than they would with Ancelotti. I just can't see how he manages us next season if we win 4 out of the last 18 and comfortably go down. Then we start this whole process again with an even lower amount of choices.

He's not a failure because he hasn't even tested himself out managing an u5 side Zat. We have 18 games left of a season with a squad who will down tools within a second of an opportunity arising.

Do you think they'll take orders from a 32 year old fella whose main responsibility in life has been to follow his dad around the globe?
33 actually. Haha. I’ve got boxer shorts older than him.

“Why did we hire a manager with no experience, we’ve just thrown away 5 games, this club’s a joke, what was Moshiri thinking” blah blah blah.
