It's ok, Donovan will show them daft limey pricks.
Good point that.
Have you driven on the GW parkway (where the crash was) and is it as dangerous as everyone says it is?
I agree, mate.
I like 500 miles.![]()
Was in Flordia a few weeks ago on a bus on my way back from Busch gardens in Tampa, when "500 miles" came on the radio.
Cue karaoke at the back of the bus as loud as we could. Classic song.
Loved it in the States but was very shocked at how few Americans I encountered even knew who Landon Donovan, or Clint Dempsey was.
They hadn't even heard of the World Cup, and I didn't see one USA Soccer Jersey.
Shocker.
Is Jermaine Jones going to to World cup?
1) Davies really would have helped us.
2) I don't think he's have been anywhere near ready for the rigors of World Cup football so soon after the accident.
3) I wouldn't have mattered had the USMNT medical staff cleared him. Sochaux's didn't and that's all that was needed to keep him from going.
As much as I feel for him, perhaps this will be a wake up call for him in terms of decision making in the future.
Any stars in the MLS who we could buy Spikeman?
Who does Freddy Adu play for now? I know he was at DC United a few years back and had bags of potential? How has he turned out?
He's [Poor language removed] now. After DC United he went to Real Salt lake, then Benfica. He's been loaned from Benfica to Monaco, Belenenses, and his current club, Aris (Greece). At all of his clubs besides DC United he's played a combined 31 games since 2006, and scored only 5 goals.
He's only 20 though and if he matures and works hard he could be a very good player.
Looks like he can't settle down then, or Benfica are trying to get him some experience?
He was supposed to be the next best thing
