Striker are judge by the number of goals he convert from the chances he had. I don't see us creating a lot of chances for him so far. Apart from goals, he had done decent job. he needs more maturity to get into goal scoring position and align his run to have an easier goal scoring...

You're standing by the comment that you wanted him removed from the club?

Crazy how people still won't change their minds, feel sorry for the people who have to deal with them in real life.

The same people will be calling him rubbish again as soon as he doesn't score for two games.
 
I have always thought and said that DCL.has tremendous attributes and is a great team player.
However I have never seen him as a natural goalscorer or having requisite composure in front of goal.
The progress that he has made in this regard since Carlo arrived is absolutely staggering.
 

West Brom and West Ham though... hmm.


See if he does it in a few weeks against the best CB pairing and goalkeeper in the league.

This forum really is bonkers at times. Just read above someone apologising for not saying he was world class. Seriously?
Not sure if this is a general football fan thing or an Everton thing. No middle ground. Either crap or world class.
just fascinated to see ancelotti working with him given all the top strikers he has worked with.
 
I kinda gave up on him last season. Given the amount of game time he was given I thought he would've been playing at a much higher level and slotting more often. However I'm glad to see that I have been piped rar down and the lad is absolutely flying.

The Everton backroom staff always had big hopes for him and never doubted that he would become a star. Carlo also believed in him and now we are seeing the results.

I always thought he was an asset and would develop, probably a good 'team' front man who'd chip in 10-15 a season. Didn't think he'd be a proper goal machine. Maybe he won't long term, but I more objected to the the shouts of being completely useless.
