Death stops the chemical reactions in our bodies working amd using energy to retain order out of chaos, so working against entropy. After death, the laws of biology, chemistry and physics work to increase chaos. Not sure where it originated, but I have liked this idea since I first came across it.

No chance of that if you believe the saying “ You can never come back as the same type of person you were the first time” So if you were a bit of a phoney when you snuffed it you will be a lot better when you come back.
