Be amusing if he came back as one of the horses he lost on...….i get why some people ‘have religion’, the caring values, the support during difficult times and the belief in afterlife.
Just read a great book about renowned horse racing gambler, Barney Curley, who once trained to be a Jesuit priest. Barney was convinced we all meet our maker and he decides your fate after death depending how you’ve acted in life. He said ‘what’s the point in living if there’s nothing after you die’.
I personally think you die and that’s it but I promise to post if it’s not the case
Works for me - I'm In...no rush though eh?What are your favourite beliefs surrounding death?
I'm quite fond of the Hindu belief that death releases the soul from a body ready to be reborn into a new body as part of the soul's journey through multiple lifetimes, learning and growing with each, which provides a sense of continuity and purpose.
You are your atoms. Oblivion is not so bad if you think of every part of you, exploring the planet you transiently occupied.
Sounds like a good night tbh.If I come again as a blue I'll be raging.
I'd like to believe that you are just an invisible spirit and that you can just spy on whoever you want with no repercussions
