Got a skinflint Kopite tagging along with us, but I don't want that to play a role in where we go.

Would like a decent selection of beers, not just your usual 4% mass produced chit, good atmosphere, live music always a plus, finger food a bonus.

Go on then.

Drinking in Liverpool has massively changed.

Loads of Stag and Hen tourists, and you will face the usual 'office' do's, at this time of the year.

If you are in the city centre, this will pretty much be your experience.

As you get to the top of Bold Street and venture up around Hope Street, maybe a better overall experience.

Stay Safe and have a good night GT.

(PS) Make sure that RS gets a round in! (preferably 'trebles' all round)

Thank you good sir. If anybody has any names of decent places to pop into please fire them into this thread. Many thanks.

The old Cains Brewery site, now re badged as the Baltic Market, may be well worth a look ?

Loads of different bars in there, places to eat and stuff going on.

Plus, a cracking traditional boozer - the Brewery Tap, on the corner, as you go in. ( sells loads of very well kept real ales )

The Camp and Furness is just over the road too and they always have music and acts on.

Excellent, I will google them right away. Thanks mate.

Dale Street is a good start as mentioned above.
The Ship & Mitre at the top where the flyover used to be is a real ale haven.
Thomas Rigbys a bit further down serves a decent pint as well.

If you’re loaded and fancy a cocktail, then deffo go in The Alchemist just around the corner in Brunswick street. One of those places that does quirky cocktails with dry ice and all that. Worth going in for one just for the experience.
