Transfer Rumour Dele Alli

Attitude seems questionable but he's still young and Ancelotti does seem to manage these sort of players well. If he was available on loan, I'd be all for it. I wouldn't want us to just lash £50m or whatever on him though, he's too much of a risk for that.

I'd rather not.
On loan or otherwise, that's a big wage drain for a player that is questionable in attitude and commitment to say the least.

I could see him having a stormer of a few months on loan, and then go hiding after we have shelled out to sign him permanently.

It negates the role of the DOF - lets go out and find young, hungry, talented players who see Everton as a step-up and less of doing the clubs above us favours by taking their cast-offs.

I know its a generalisation and clearly it won't always apply - but I don't think we make ourselves stronger in the long-term, onboarding players whom our supposed "rivals" don't want.

Let's have the clubs above us wanting our players, and more of them.

He'll be loaned abroad, personally think Italy would be a great move for him. Mourinho and Levy will never allow him to go to a club fighting for top 6, whilst the lad himself surely won't step down to a bottom half side.

Good player but goes missing too often.

Unless they feel he's good enough to take points off their rivals...

Ancelotti would be the right manager and would definitely get a tune out of him, but unlike Everton with Walcott, Spurs aren't daft enough to loan him to a rival. Will probably go abroad.
So long as Dele doesn't play against Spurs, they might fancy it - especially if it means we start taking points off the other competitors at the top?

Prove it!

wow we are so quick to hype and destroy players on here, and especially are all experts on 'attitude' and 'character' lol
Anyway, we're looking for the Doucoure back up I guess or competition?

A loan would probably be ok for us, but doubt Spurs would even think about allowing him to come here on loan.

Far far too big a risk to spend big money on a player like Alli at the minute. He has a goalscoring knack which is always useful but he hasn't played well since before the world cup and that's 2 and a half years ago.
