But possibly on the flip side, he plays 2 seasons, does great. We hand over £40 million to Spurs, Delli doesn’t sign a new deal so he can go to a CL club (if it works out) and we’ve just payed £40 million for somebody who’s left us on a free
If Dele doesn’t sign a contract extension at the end of next season he won’t be hitting the 80 games mark

I have zero faith in this becoming a good buy. He's here for Frank and not Everton. My guess is he will be with the fella city paid 100 million for to fall over. They can compare crap haircuts and show zero effort!

Funny when you look at that great Spurs team that Poch got to the Champions League final:

Rose - Watford
Sissoko - Watford
Trippier - Newcastle
Eriksen - Brentford
Alli - Everton

2 years later and half the team are playing in a relegation battle.

Thing about raw talent is just that feeling if when to release the pass and being able to find the space is part of raw talent, just as much as pace, skill stength etc, Alli had that and Barkley never did

It's what marked Rooney out even as a teenager as much as anything else.
Rooney is probably the poster boy for playing on feel successfully. Even he lost it in the end, but he stayed in that zone for a very long time.

Messi is and was a touch more clinical, other than the dribbling which is just nuts levels of instinct. Ronaldo is a bit more like Brazilian (fat) Ronaldo, and just physically overpowers the opponent the way a certain Spaniard from Mallorca did, and does, in another sport.

If he hits all the escalators, it would have been worth. That is the beauty of the deal in a nutshell. It's very hard for us to lose, and our gains are Spurs' gains.

The fact that he only thanked pochettino of his past managers speaks volumes for me. He obviously is a lad that doesn't respond to the shouting and screaming/hurling abuse type of manager let's hope lampard can get a tune out of him thats anywhere near the one pochettino did, if so we'll have done well out of this one.

Sure he could have number 10 now couldn’t he, the man who can’t be named hasn’t been registered in the squad?

When they register the final team sheet for this season, pretty sure his name and number was missing. So can't see why they can't have the 10.

The lad is not finished.
Had a really good game against the RS recently.
Gets stuck in and can see a pass.
He is the playmaker we have been crying out for.
Good luck Dele.
Agree on this, Everton is his last chance, he has to take it, hopfully the years he has wasted are behind him

Everton are a big opportunity for Frank, Dele and all the new signings.

Let's not let 'staying up' blunt the ambition on the pitch. Be brave lads!
