Performance based then it is a good deal because it means player is doing well and y the club is winning games.

Exactly, it'll have clauses like him winning the Ballon D'or. The relatively short contract should suggest everything about what we're likely to pay in terms of fee.

£28 million for Iwobi now or £40 million for Alli if he comes good again. I know which deal I would have rather had.

It is effectively a pay-as-you-play. If he plays frequently, they will get £40m.

Hopefully the "guesstimate" total fee is performance based.
Imagine if all of our signings in the past three years had been arranged this way? We would have fees in the negative numbers by now lol
