This isn't another Iwobi, imo. Iwobi never showed an ounce of what Dele was producing a couple years back. Also, it would be a relatively short contract, anyway. Not like we'd be stuck with him for years like with Iwobi.

Its fine. Could have a lot of upside, and the rumours of the details of the fee conditions means even if he can't recapture that form and bombs, it won't put us much out of pocket.

I was reading what little was written on the BBC about it. A much shorter synopsis than pages and pages of random internet forum. Good to know a load of contributors in a 50+ page thread are fully clued up about the finer details of deal that hasn't happened yet though. ?

So all we know about the fee is it’s not going to be 10 mill and it’s not gonna be 40 mill. Surely for a player of his current standing it’s around the 20 mill mark. Saying that we paid 30 mill for Iwobi.

Something has gone majorly wrong with him, but if he can gain some confidence we could end up talking about this being one of more shrewd recent deals (not that there is a long list of those.....)

Fingers crossed Lampard can get through to him. If he specifically wanted him you'd like to think there's already a good rapport there.
