Why would Levy let him go free, makes no sense.

I’m more than certain that this is both clubs using loopholes RE English loans. With our FFP restrictions it’s the only way both clubs get this deal done.

He won’t be able to play 20 games as only 18 left and he’s cup tied. It’s basically a 6 month loan deal. But with El Ghazi and VDB we are full. Spurs want him off the wage bill to make way for their new signings.

I’m sure there will be a fee somewhere a long the line in Spurs favour!

Its a free transfer then £10mil after 20 games.

The other £23mil is in team and player performance based add ons.

Definitely mate - I’m also excited to see an Everton team who actually attack again. I think Godfrey would benefit massively from us playing more attacking too, as a high line would surely suit him

I reckon the manager was in his ear as early as Friday mate. The London football scene is no different to the North West one; everyone knows everyone. Or know someone who knows someone.

The player was getting nothing on the pitch with Conte, and the manager knew that, imo.

….makes sense, especially a player of Alli’s type who like Lampard continually hits the penalty area & gets around and beyond the main striker.

It would be great if that was the case mate but we're talking about Levy here and nothing is ever black and white with him when it comes to money.
