I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday. I’m hopeful for both signings but not getting to excited about them. Really don’t see how they fit into the same team. Feels like people are getting caught up in the excitement of the day, in the cold light of a couple of months down the road people are going to be saying this is like the year we signed 3 number 10s in one window when other areas of the team needed attention

£150k according to the local journos in London. Think that probably includes appearance money etc though

I suspect we have simply matched the contract he was on at Spurs as he had 2.5 years left on it.

No reason for sound logic on this Forum. Stop your deductive reasoning immediately.

We needed a DM and a CB; that for me was paramount unless FF thinks he can get a tune out of Keane/Holgate/Davies/Gbamin/Coleman...

If he plays 2 seasons worth of games in 2 1/2 years that means he has been a success and has stayed fit more to the point. How much did we pay for gbamin, bolasie, besic, tosun, delph and how many games have we got out of them between then. Probably less than 80 in 3 years and has cost us a damn site more than 40m each.

Hitting the nail on the head, thanks. I'd take that 75% but the optimist in me wonders if our new manager isn't thinking he can get him better than the player he was. There's a bloody good player in there for sure
