Sorry bud, you've probably answered this but a good fit for us or not?
At least he seems to have seen it however many times he's watched usBe nice to know if Frank had watched Everton much this season.
It would only take a game or two to realise our midfield was utter cack!
If it’s fair to say Alli and VDB both need to play as a 10 to get the best out of them, what formation will we now be playing?
£150k according to the local journos in London. Think that probably includes appearance money etc thoughHe was supposed to be on £100k a week at Spurs so I doubt that we've pushed his wages up
Our highest earners now will be the bloke who we can't speak of and Mina.
Alli was light years above Barkley though, before their respective drop-offsHe's still only 25? Feels like he's been around a lot lot longer. He and Barkley were both considered the top up and coming talents in midfield, I think?
No reason for sound logic on this Forum. Stop your deductive reasoning immediately.I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday. I’m hopeful for both signings but not getting to excited about them. Really don’t see how they fit into the same team. Feels like people are getting caught up in the excitement of the day, in the cold light of a couple of months down the road people are going to be saying this is like the year we signed 3 number 10s in one window when other areas of the team needed attention
If he plays 2 seasons worth of games in 2 1/2 years that means he has been a success and has stayed fit more to the point. How much did we pay for gbamin, bolasie, besic, tosun, delph and how many games have we got out of them between then. Probably less than 80 in 3 years and has cost us a damn site more than 40m each.So he plays 80 games, scores no goals and generally is rubbish, we give them €40M...great...
Hitting the nail on the head, thanks. I'd take that 75% but the optimist in me wonders if our new manager isn't thinking he can get him better than the player he was. There's a bloody good player in there for sureMillion dollar question. If Lampard can get him back to 75% of what he was under Pochettino, then he will have been a very good buy for you. He is still a young man so there is no reason why he can't get his act together again.
Or if he plays 79 games with 20 goals and 35 assists we pay 10 milSo he plays 80 games, scores no goals and generally is rubbish, we give them €40M...great...
