Does anyone think he would want to stay, if we are in the Championship and he won't be alone, we may get the clearly we really need, though I hope it's not all the players we don't want to go.

So you believe from £0 to £40m is based solely on appearances?

Nothing in there that is qualifying for Europe, nothing in there is a survival payment etc.?

You think a many of Daniel Levy's negotiating accumen simply put £40m on appearances and we accepted?

You think we'd sign him under those conditions but would still sell in the Championship even though he could accrue appearances regardless of league?

Use your noggin.

There's a few more than 1 for me. I'd sooner keep Richarlison (but he's 100% gone). Godfrey - despite not being in great form - I think has the potential to be very good. And Pickford because there's zero chance of us getting a better keeper. DCL if he could get back to what he is capable of, but he's clearly decided he's moving on too.

Think that's probably it, depressingly.

Yes, there’s probably a performance based payment as well like £5m after 10 goals or something. But I believe the bulk of the £40m will be appearance based. Levy will not have accepted anything based on us qualifying for Europe because we don’t do that because we’re a circus of a club. He’ll also be on £100k a week so that’s another reason why we’ll have to let him go in the summer. And yes, I do believe Moshiri is stupid enough to still sign him despite all of this and relegation being a realistic possibility.

I’m not arsed about Pickford at all, there’s plenty of keepers that can do a job in the Championship for a fraction of his wages, we don’t need to sign anyone better than him for where we’re going. And tbh I don’t even rate him that highly anyway.

Fair enough, all about opinions.
 
One of the steangest signings ever , right up there with El Ghazi , the polar opposite of what we needed.
Won't be here next season.
Will go to someone like Palace on a free
