I actually think, weirdly, if we could afford to keep him in the event of relegation, that he might stay. I see Richarlison, Calvert Lewin, Mina, Pickford, Gomes and Allan as the main ones we would look to sell, and I think regardless of relegation, we signed Dele with an eye on next season, knowing full well we would likely cash in on Richarlison and/or DCL.

I don't think there would be a stream of clubs looking to take him for a start, and I think staying would do him good, even if it's just till the January window.

Additionally, while I don't think Daniel Levy is daft enough to overlook it, it would be funny if we had stipulated Premier League games, especially knowing he was cup-tied and unable to play in the Cup anyway.

A full season in the championship without spending a penny.

Someone suggested playing him up top and I actually don't hate that in a match where we should in theory have the ball and not need to hoof it

Hard to contribute when he never plays. Got the assist for the draw with Leicester just last week mind.
A succession of managers as diverse as Southgate , Mourinho , Nuno , Conte and now Lampard have chosen not to select him.
I wonder why.

I’d say having Son or Foden ahead of him is a different situation to playing Iwobi.

He has a goal in him and for that reason, should be starting games as it’s something we chronically lack.
