Very much doubt we are selling, but if we did, then surely we could just transfer the original deal over. Not sure how many games he has featured in. Let's say 5 for arguments sake. Buying club then sends spurs £10m after 15 games and then crack on with the rest of the deal as it was.
I imagine it would actually be very easy to get rid of him, deal wise. Would just need a club who wanted him. Some promoted side, I reckon would take a look.

But for me, I say keep him and see where we are next season. At worst we have a £20m bench squad player.

If we stay up and make it clear that we're happy to let him go I can't see it being easy to get rid. There would be massive alarm bells going off at that point, there aren't many teams as stupid as us when it comes to buying players with major issues.
