Dele is a player of moments, hes like a shark, he will do nothing for ages and drift and in a moment strike and change the game with rare quality of intent and composure - we've seen it already, ive no doubt many will have him labeled as "lazy" and "doesn't do enough for me" - after our first five games.

Dele is a massive gamble, he could be a massive plus signing or a total expensive flop, and the outcome rests with Dele, does he want to try and reach the top again, where he was or is he content with the money he has already earned and hopefully kept, the balls in his court.

Do you know i wonder are we all gulity of sterotyping the lid, any time ive seen him hes put it all in - not saying you mate but generally and in the media.

Behind the rollers, bling, holidays, girlfriends i think there is an insecure lid who needs to be accepted and feel a sense of support and belonging - if you look at his life and career its when hes experienced this, hes thrived. I think Lampard is good for him. I think the club could be good for him, he fed of that supportive atmosphere at Palace, we need to handle him right. He needs managing a certain way to my mind, what doesn't help is he has a specific set skills that fit into a certain system, but the skills he has - well the ceiling is world class. Which is why i say we need to be understanding of the lid.

Not very bad tbh, just... average? Which for someone who was very good previously is basically a career death sentence, unless he goes back to previous form.

Hope he achieves it here, obviously.
 
I don't know if the exact details of his transfer are on record but,if he's a naff as a lot on here are saying and his fee is linked to appearances then he'll hardly get a game so will end up costing relatively little,so one of our better pieces of business of late.

Absolutely nailed it in my opinion here! Exactly my take on Dele Alli. I'm looking forward to seeing him after a full pre season of Frank giving him a cuddle and confidence.
