Hope so cause there’s definitely still a player with huge ability but no matter how much ability you have if you’ve lost the appetite for the game or sport you’re in the training levels drop which then show in your performances.

Love it. Want to see more of a 4-2-3-1 this season with Dele behind Dom. For all his good points, Rich never combined well with Dom. If Dele can, with pace either side in the form of Gordon and either Gray or a new signing, we could be in business. Need a midfielder who can tackle in the 2 though.

A tenner says Dele will have a great season. He's one of about four or five players at ages of 25/26 who'll come good this year: DCL, Iwobi, Dele, Holgate, Gray ... we still need midfielders and a right back (Paterson will need another season)

Would genuinely be fantastic news if that's true. We shall see how it translates, but a Dele firing on all cylinders would fix a lot of problems. I have some concerns about how he fits in as well, but ability wise he's clear of just about everyone at the club. Lampard could build the system around him and Dom if he's back to his best, then fit in the rest around them. Need some proper CMs in to play behind.
