So he has another year on his contract when he comes back, dunno who will take him on loan again... Maybe a club in Saudi or something...

Assuming he's on about £100k per week it's going to cost us around £5.2 million to have the pleasure of him not playing before we can get shot of him
What a great signing.

The only thing I have ever heard in regards to Dele from Spurs fans was about him getting to drawn in to the whole London lifestyle thing a bit too much and he got a bit too keen on being seen at various celeb parties and the such like.

Do you reckon thats all it is mate....prob best not to speculate, but I've suspected for a while it could be his mental health, nothing to base it on bar the startling regression and what seems lack of motivation and an inability to function at an average level.

Apparently hes on a lower base rate with performance related add ons in his contract.
Highly doubtful club spin from the time of his signing.
He had a long term contract from Spurs, that we inherited. Why would he agree to anything that potentially leaves him out of pocket?
If there’s any incentive in his deal with us, it’s to earn more than the base value he got from his Spurs contract.

I think he just isn't that bothered about playing football anymore tbh, he wouldn't be the first person in life who decided they don't like their chosen career path anymore. Elite level sport is 80% mental and 20% physical yet there are a lot of players now that are suffering with mental health issues which would suggest a huge gap in the developmental stages of youth football in preparing these players for what is to come in many aspects of the game. It's something which needs urgent attention imo.

Dont know the exact details to be honest and largely basing the assumption on the below - maybe im self soothing, if we've given him a contract for 100k a week we deserved to be rinsed to be honest. Hopefully the below is more accurate.
