Dr Marcus Rashford is clearly aiming towards parliament. Football is just funding for him at this point. Why be bothered about trophies and goals if you can influence parliament.

I think had he delivered what was hoped he would, ie Europe, he most likely would have been kept as in that scenario we doubt we would have ended up with tapas tits and the increased revenue would have justified his wages.
