Turned his blower off to Besiktas hasn't he?

I've pin-pointed the moment his career went down the pan.

When Lottie Moss said he 'slid into her DM's'. Not saying I blame him one bit like, she's unreal.

I think he’ll get bored and fall back in love with football in a couple of years. Obviously can’t recapture his form at that point so I expect him to be at Birmingham in 3 years time doing well in the championship.

bellend of a bloke.

got all the talent in the world but wasting it away, cancel his contract and let him retire.

we are the the last time he will ever get a decent contract at unless he has a massive change of attitude

As usual I am trying to be positive and give the benefit of the doubt...

Apart from the famous Mourinho talk, and the fact that 3 years ago he was almost first on the England team sheet, do we know that he's got a bad attitude and wasting it away, and his money has ruined him? That's the easy assumption and also - 'why would someone with this talent decline so rapidly?'
but unless he seeks help, makes a statement, tells his story I don't know why he is not at least one of the best in the premier league any more, even if he can't maintain that trajectory he was on to be one of the best in Europe

For me its a few issues:

Dembele + Eriksen left Spurs
Mourinho changed the style of play
Hamstring injuries
Not making the same number of runs + not being picked out.

He could be quiet for 89mins and then we would suddenly see him score for Spurs.

People are looking at him as a type of player that should dominate or effect games....hes not that player.

Hes the wild card that can get on the end of a pass and score.

Always said the same when he broke on the scene.

The same mould of the Icelandic Babysitter who'd be a ghost for most of a game then pop up with a goal.

Think that type of player quickly went out of fashion by the time Jose pulled him up at Spurs.

From then on combined with clear mental health issues (he doesn't have a love for the job), on top of having everything by 24...he's now a lost cause unwilling to adapt his game.

Once he's done with us, he'll struggle to find a club to pay his wages and wouldn't be surprised if he retired
