He did what he is supposed to do, he is not a scout, a manager or director of football.
Scout - scouting potential transfers, looking for players.
Manager - working with scout to approve said players.
DoF - signing said players for a reasonable to the situation sum/wage/etc.
Bill Kenwright does this while being none of those things and it's someone else's fault lol
