Great news coming out about Deli this morning, possibly the sign we’ve been waiting for that he ready, willing and able to knuckle down for the cause.

This will be the colour of the new third kit, an homage to the first light blue home kit at Goodison Park.

Need to find him as high profile a loan as possible, lower half Bundesliga top flight would be perfect, he has to have the season of his life to stay on the gravy train, so if he turns up we could get a nominal fee in January from a side ready to swoop in for a chance at a bargain.

It's to early in the day for vodka so don't ask.

Surely the Saudi 's could be interested.

I think we have to remember that the lad is going to cost a lot of money if he plays 20 games. I would have no qualms in giving him a bit of game time to prove himself, however if it is going to cost us £10 million then that is a different matter. He had a chance to prove himself here and again in Turkey, neither went well. If he is serious about getting back on track then send him out on loan until Christmas, if he does well bring him back, if not then we have done our best by him. Given that Bill Kenwright and the Board have squandered all the money we can’t afford £10 million on a gamble.

Yes thanks again Bill.. He seems to have lost all hunger for the game, just been going through the motions for years, too much too soon.

It is up to Spurs, they can change the terms of the agreement allowing Alli to play more games for us to try to get the manager convinced he is worth some of our scarce resources.

I just don't see that happening.

The Saudi's have gone for a variety of different types of players and different ages as well.

I don't think I remember them paying a lot of money for a waster yet.

Spurs can afford to wait, we are paying his sky high wages to watch from the stands..

True, but equally he is out of contract in twelve months and they have no hope of ever getting money back on him. they have nothing to lose by changing the terms of the deal and may even make some money if he did well.

If by some miracle Alli has realised that his career is going down the toilet and puts in the necessary effort to get himself back on track, is allowed to play some games for us, it may be we might think it worth paying the money we would owe, this way we can't play him to even give himself a chance to show what he can do.

We all know he is a very gifted footballer who is just drifting.
