Anyone know how many more games he can play for us before it triggers a payment to spurs? Not suggesting we play him, just curious.

He's played in 13 competitive games for us I think, guessing it'll be either 15 or 20 when the first part of the £40m fee would have to be paid.

putting my surprisingly optimistic head on here. but if he did buckle down and find his best form which was in that AM/second striker role under Poch at spurs.
Doucoure was immense in that role since Dyche came in. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dele as a squad/rotational option if he can get his head down and prove his worth.

Lots of ifs though, surely last chance saloon for this balloon head

We still can’t risk spending the extra cash though. He could easily turn it on for the first few games and then stop bothering when he hits the target number of games and we’ve had to stump up the £10m.

Although I’m sure Bill could release a dvd of his greatest moments to remind us of the good times.

We agree that we need to move him on, but if he has a good preseason, its more likely he'll find something than if he doesn't.
