Couple of pages back.
Disgusting posts.

Although it's something like 7 more games before we need to pay £10m, it's actually 27 more games we can get from him for that £10m, before another 10 is due (if I understand the subsequent payment terms?)

That's pretty much a full season for 10m (give or take, being rested/knocks/suspensions etc), which if he rediscovers form, fitness and health, doesn't seem that bad value really.
I have genuine doubts it's possible to pay £10m for Everton. For any players, rsgardless of media reports about bids etc. This deal has created a horrendous situation

Well, it was originally going to be a South Park joke about getting his first career medal, but then we don't know if the perp was a woman or not.

I've know some messed up people in my life, but this takes the cake. Absolutely no defending posting this or the other crap you posted. One of my friends went through the same thing when he was younger I will be perfectly honest so I do not take stuff like this lightly by any means; vile the people who do it to children and vile the people who make some kind of dark humor out of it.

Not sure what the policy is to get banned on here since I am newer here, but ...yeah.

That is one of the most inspiring and yet depressing interviews I've seen. Fair play to Dele for opening up - you can physically see the weight coming off him when he is letting it all out. I thought Gary Neville handled that interview unbelievably well.

From a football perspective, it is incredibly frustrating that the deal is structured in the way it is. After making the effort to help himself off the field, we as a Club deserve to give him the chance on the field. However, it is simple economics, and we cannot afford a £10m risk.

I'd love us to give him the chance and be the Club that let's Dele reborn thrive - he could be the difference maker for us. The one that used to struggle, saving the Club that is struggling.

What we have to remember, what ever we think. there is a big difference between general every day people and businesses.
whether the general population are now looking at this and thinking he deserves the chance. A crumbling business with debts mounting can't look at the situation in the same way. they can/should do what they can to help him while he is contracted to them, but they can't go and throw millions to a club because of the situation. Which in the likelihood will pay no benefits back to them, but instead Increase the mounting Debt they are already burdened with.

I guess, you never know what someone is going through. Hopefully this is what turns the corner for him. He's taken the first step and that is a big one.

I say sod the fees payable if he trains hard and earns the games that should be the only consideration when it comes to playing him. Surely by that time we should have clarity re: MSP money and the FFP stuff.

It’s still very much a moon shot but he could start the season on a flier. Imagine he scores 4 in the first 6 games and a couple of MOTM displays. The 10m payment will be coming into focus - what then ? Everton that?

I wonder if its possible for him to get back to his previous performance levels.

Seems rather than everything suddenly 'clicking' it could be a long road back.

But for us, i dont think hes ever been 'poor', hes shown flashes of elite performance but otherwise average.

A motivated Dele with Onana and Garner feeding him could be something else.

Dele / Doucoure as our ACM for a season would either mean 2 stopgaps or one of them stepping up to be the main man.

Im sure it will be a long process and that's cool.

You are missing the point. Most companies don’t have appointed doctors. Which certainly means you aren’t given drugs to help your company. For them to do so is wrong. He says he was given these tablets by his company doctors.

Didn’t he say he got them from an actual doctors at the start before going black market? But that he was put onto them (I read that as told about them) by club doctors. I don’t believe the club doctors can do prescriptions can they?

He did & Gary’s response shows it’s at least somewhat common amongst players coming off the build up & adrenaline rush of match day.

Worry about the janky contract after 6 appearances. I’d love to see him force a place in the team. Whatever else you think of Dyche it will be earned if it happens.
