I prefer the honesty from Dyche to the fans, compared to Carlo. He used to constantly give false hope on players returning, when they were always miles away. This stuff takes a lot of time. As I said people need to really temper their expectations. If he wasn’t injured and got a good look in preseason that is a whole different story. It’s a shame, but at least the first half of the season I would give him a good loan and evaluate him from there. Even if he isn’t ready for premier league footy yet I think he needs to keep playing.
I think the worst possible thing for Dele right now would to get clattered by an awful challenge and end up horribly injured. I would try to find a chill loan for him where he can build some confidence and get a good run out. I don’t think he will be ready for this league for a bit.I prefer the honesty from Dyche to the fans, compared to Carlo. I just hope that whatever we end up doing it’s the right course of action. I personally would not want to see another Gomes/Gibson situation where the joy for the game is beat out of them. It never gets easier seeing someone struggle like that.I doubt he will get loaned out. Its probably the psychological side that is nowhere near.
If so, he is better staying put, work with his mental health team and see how he is later.
He can always do what other Injured players do when coming back, play behind closed door game.
I would just assume he won't play for us again, and if he does, then great.
The realist in me agrees, but I have hope Mike!I’m afraid to say you are insane if you think he’s playing a second of football for us ever again.
I think this is a bluff.
I think he is protecting him as much as he can and keeping him fit incase of a transfer or if we don't strengthen further, a possible squad player until January.
I would love to see him back to his best and he would make a perfect replacement for Doucoure who has only a year left on his contract.
That tweet just gives the headline. The full article states Dyche says Alli is feeling good in himself but is miles away from playing because he’s still recovering from a hip injuryI think this is a bluff.
