Actual quote:

"He is still not over his injury yet," Dyche said. "He is well in himself, but he is not over his injury yet.

"We are miles away from that [thinking about role in squad], he is just getting himself right again; he is feeling good, and now we will be working with him, on top of that, to make sure the injury is right. But it is still going to be a bit of time yet."

Sounds that we will keep him as probably no takers for him. However it seems that unless we have significant injuries, he will probably end up used less than 7 times so that we do not triggered the fee to spurs. Quoting dyche as being miles away, that's another couple of months ar least....then depending on the results and the need of the squad we will probably not see him much.

Amazing what an actual quote in context looks like isnt it! Hes still reovering from his op in the summer.

Don’t remember there being any mention of an injury when he was sent back. Heard he fell out with the manager there.
No, the manager fired a parting shot about the lads mental health as the loan was ended prematurely. Definitely injured over there, had the operation before last game of last season didn't he? I have the memory of a goldfish. People were complaining on here cos he had skittles on his hospital bedside table lol.

When Dyche says 'miles away' he clearly means that there's no need to rush him in, tempering expectations as he should.

Like Dom, he'll have his programme that he'll be following, so knowing Dyche he'll just want to make sure he sticks through it first and foremost..

Worlds apart from the clipped quote shown everywhere
Sounds so much better in context than the sensationalist waffle
