Doesn't need to be sold. He's unemployed in 4 months.
Aye.
Even worse we cant pick him up on a free as a free agent after that, other clubs can.

We can't?
No. I'd long assumed we could but we owe Spurs a fee if he earns another contract at Everton.
You'd hope they'd be able to negotiate it if they wanted him because Spurs get zilch if he goes elsewhere.
Can't see anyone giving him a kicking. I can see posters questioning if giving a player that's rarely played any football in 18 months is worthy of a new contract.Yeah let’s give him another kicking
That could not happen, you cannot put down conditions on a contract that has expired and why would we agree to it anyway, everybody knew Spurs just wanted rid of Dele.I read that Spurs had written into the deal that if no clauses were paid but we extended or oddered him a new contract that we would then have to pay a fee. I don't know what the fee is though. Another case of Daniel Levy fisting us. Why can't we have a CEO as ruthless as him.
I hope thats the case but I was just quoting what I'd read in the Athletic (I think)That could not happen, you cannot put down conditions on a contract that has expired and why would we agree to it anyway, everybody knew Spurs just wanted rid of Dele.

I can see him just having some time out then going to MLS in Winter.
I thought you can pay a very basic salary heavily incentivised by performance ?Unfortunately Spurs are entitled to insert a clause in the deal meaning we owe them more money if he signs a new deal with us (Man City did it to us with Gareth Barry) and the Athletic have reported that this is exactly what Spurs have done and pay as you play deals aren't allowed in the UK because of the PFA
