But no doubt you'll still be blaming Benitez in 2025 when we're in League One.

I`ll still be blaming Benitez, as he could very well prove to be the catalyst for the many years of mismanagement, that finally sends us down.

I`ll also be blaming Moshiri, as he was the clown that hired the worst manager we`ve ever had.

If we do go down, it`ll never be forgotten on here, how gleefully you looked forward to getting relegated, just so you could say you were right all along.

Haven't you said on here previously something like you wouldn't mind us getting relegated so you could see us win a trophy ( the championship ) or something along those lines?.

I wouldn't be that arsed if we went down because nothing changes in my support of Everton - im not a Sky tellyclapper PL fanboy and I hate the corruption of the PL so yeah if thats your "vault" nuclear bomb to drop then fair enough.

But that has nothing to do with me "wishing" relegation to be "proven right" whatsoever its totally unrelated.

I guarantee if we went down there would be some on here who would go missing - which says more about their "support" than it does mine who'll still be going the match, posting on here etc.

Was dreading the day he got injured. Has been our best player this season by an absolute mile, we can't afford him to be out for long.

Been our best player. But been way off it past few weeks, his decision making at times is awful. Needs to get back to what he was doing earlier on in the season. Seems to try and take the world on at times instead of releasing the ball earlier.

You can't be a supporter of Everton and not be arsed if we go down. It's something that would be catastrophic for the club and we might not come back from it. We would be paying CL wages in the championship and building a new stadium. It doesn't take a genius to see there could be enormous problems. Last night I could hardly get to sleep after that game. Last time I can remember lying awake at night after a game was when we lost to Fiorentina on pens and I was at school back then.

I dont understand the entitled mentality our fans have of relegation being some unimaginable disaster when we are simply a midtable club making up the numbers these days - we've flirted with relegation for years now under numerous managers at certain stages of the seasons.

Its not the 80's anymore mate and truth be told since David Moyes left the standards of the club, the recruitment, the fitness and conditioning of the players, the mentality in the dressing room has all gone to ruin therefore you can not have any complaints.

Dont get me wrong if we were relegated via some underhanded manner like breaking FFP and getting a 20 point deduction I would be seething at the injustice of it.

But if we go down because we deserved to then thats football I look ahead to next season.
