Indeed, for 15 matches he looked like a revelation. Unfortunately outside of those 5 goals in 15 matches, he scored 2 from 52 matches from play. Over his other couple of hundred matches for his career, both before and after, hes scored so little consistently. Doucoure is a more prolific goal scorer

Im not sure what his previous seasons were like, but he played in 33 matches last year and about 75% of the minutes available. I’m not saying he is going to score 10, but if he gets say, 90% in of minutes in, given he does not appear to be particularly injury prone, he may get more hence the 5-10 band. I agree his history wouldn’t suggest it but as I say you never know. He may not even move to Palace!
