Harrison was announced as number 11.

The official site has now gone back to Gray at 11 with Harrison no shirt number.

A clear sign that Gray is likely to stay given the small squad size and lack of other transfers.

Has he been pictured on any training pics on the O/S? You'd think he'd be re-integrated after deadline day passes but then McNeill and Harrison should be fit by middle of September so I don't really see him getting many minutes bar perhaps league cup.

I genuinely thought everything with Fulham was done but guess they thought Willian was going to Saudi and so far he's stayed.

no way. he is leaving. Either to the Saudi's or someone takes him on deadline day. We will still look for a winger. If not we have Harrison / Danjuma who replaced him. The fact he is not in the squad now with the injuries tells enough.

We desperately need outgoings, because we have way too much wages tied up in players who don’t affect the first team!

Deli Ali, Gbamin & Gomes alone. If we could offload just those 3 & bring in one player who improves the 1st team, that would be positive.

Add Holgate, Godfrey, Keane, Gray, Maupay, Young, Patterson, Mykolenko & replace with 3 good players & we‘re in entirely better shape.

One small problem. We don’t have a board capable of doing any of that.

No, we can’t & won’t. We’re inept & incapable. Our defensive frailties have been evident for too long now, we just don’t have a board capable of fixing it.

BTW, we could offload those 6 & replace with 3 quality players and be in better shape.

Exactly. That’s why we are where we are. We repeatedly recruit dross & pay them more than any other club would.

yes i have but have you seen we still carry a 30 man squad ?

and as i posted somewhere else there is no point in keeping Gray if he is not training / playing at the moment with all the injuries.
once Iwobi, Harrison and Mc Neil are back we are well covered and he won't get a look in. Dyche doesnt play him as a winger / he is not a striker so sell him and we can move on.

so i agree with partially with you he would be very useful at the moment, but clearly not in the manager's thought

That 30 man squad includes 4 goalkeepers and the likes of Gbamin and Gomes, Gray offers a lot more than them 2 combined.

What a ridiculous situation we’ve created for ourselves. 3 wingers injured and we can’t play one whose wages we are playing because we’ve frozen him out of training.

I got taking him out weeks ago when it looked like he was off to Fulham but when that doesn’t materialise you have to bring him back in. We need everyone we can in the squad right now.

A perfectly good winger and the only player we’ve paid a fee for all summer, neither of them seemingly even training with the first team when we have an injury crisis. Who is making these decisions?
