Not just for him I expect, I'm sure his agent, former club etc will also end up getting a bigger wad of cash if he signs for Newcastle rather than us. Thus making everyone involved happy... except us.

Why is it obvious? Newcastle have been negotiating with him for a while too, and its taking so long cos of Hoffenheim and their dodgey deal with West Ham. Still, I don't think he will end up here.

If everton ever back out of contract talks with a player over fitness problems we should just give up. The amount of players we have signed who have terrible history of injury's is unbelievable. Ba proved himself last season 7 goals in 12 games, we need someone like him in our team.

If he doesn't sign, he doesn't sign. He'll move on, we'll move on. We'll sign top players, I'm sure of it.
It's early days and these things are never easy so I'm keeping positive.
