non-brazilian south americans tend to settle very well in the prem, this lad is also still quite young so has room to improve, i'm excited by both our signings in all honesty. For the doubters see Tevez, Mascherano, Hernandez, Solano, Suarez and Ricky villa(ran out of names) This lad is physically powerful as well.

Stracqualursi apparently rhymes with mercy, Mersey and jersey and the first part goes with attack etc so should be easy to do some crap chants.

I have it on good authority from my mate in Mendoza, that this lad is badly gash! He likes a pint and chasing the ladies

Yes! the clubs of Liverpool have missed a player of the calibre of Andy Van Derrr....derr. MEYDDEEE!

Rejoice nightclubs of Liverpool! Rejoice you terracotta wannabe WAGS.

I hear ya mate..just read from an ex-scout, karlsentk Tor-Kristian Karlsen, on twitter..
"i watched him several times in argentina this spring, i remember thinking he looks like a centre-back being played up front"

but also said

"powerful, strong in the air, good shot but movement was poor, little finesse, dodgy touch... (stracqualursi)"

hmmm...not so confident now, sounds like Victor :(

the bit that has me worried is leicester had him for a week on trial and they have been desperate for an attacker and didnt snap him up.
hope he isnt the modern day bernie the bolt

That is the worry. We dont want an argentinian james beattie.

Pronunciation wise the argentinians seem to pronounce his name: Strak-wa-lucy.

Still can't believe we sold Beckford - who had a great shot and pace on him. Ok his touch was sometimes a bit errant and he struggled like sh!t in a 4-5-1 but that wasn;t always his fault.

My cousin lives in the Usa and watches a lot of Argentinean football and his word about this guy were he was very unpredictable, at times a good target man and scores a few decent goals, at other times he said he is absolutely awful and does not look interested at all and is known to be a very good at disappearing from games....WE WILL SEE !!!!

I hope he's good, to be honest he probably wasn't brought in to be a better striker than what we have - just another option. If he's not up to scratch then we send him back rather than sign him and no harm done.

hopefully with the move , big crowds it might get him motivated, we wait an see if we dont expect great things it willl not be a let down, and i have got a feeling it might just come good, baines and coleman when he is fit and the new dutch fella on wing we might get a good few crosses in.
