Please do not compare him to Klaassen and Cuco. Physically Dumfries will be better equipped than Klaassen and he is better than Cuco all day long.
Agree though not sure he is the ideal wing back for Nuno.
As for the poster who wants to sell Digne woaw our most consistent performer over the last few seasons. Ideally I want us to sign a copy of Digne for the right flank

Dumfries cant cross a ball effectively more than 2 feet off the air. Not the best ball control or technique either.

Surely Nuno wants people who can cross with his tactics?

Also Dumfries isnt great in a dutch back 5.

Tbf Nuno played a back 5 at Wolves but not in any of his previous jobs

If it really is Nuno ( you know my feelings ) then I could see him going in for Doherty as a specialist RWB. Wouldn’t be my choice though.

….i certainly don’t know the lad as well as you, but we really need players with an engine in the back four. As for the other aspects of his game, it’s lots to do with blend.

I think it’s more important we get a really potent right side midfielder who provides genuine threat and goalscoring contribution. Its about getting the ideal partnership on both flanks.
