I think he is a solid and flexible signing who has all the attributes of a good Premier League player.
He also give us another goal threat with his pace and ability to join attacks. He has scored 16 and created 20 for PSV - compared to Digne, who has 5 goals and 20 assists.
He isn't like Digne but he has improved and if not for PSV being wasteful, he would have ended up with more assists to his name.
There is a negative notion that he can't play or pass or cross but I think this comes from the fact he is built more like Godfrey, 6,2 and looks more defensive but his stats don't lie.
I wanted him last season after his standout season at PSV but this season he has continued to improve and he has made the right wingback position with the Netherlands his.
For £15m as quoted, we are getting a player with lots of experience who will be our right back for years to come.

Don't know much about him. Think I've seen him play a couple of times for Holland.
But my default stance is generally to ignore performances under Ronald Koeman and to be a little wary of signing an Eridivise player.

I’d be perfectly content spending 15 mil on a solid player to fill in the gaping hole at RB for the moment. We absolutely have to hit on a good CM and RW too, so having more money to throw won’t hurt.
Given our recent transfer business, I’m wary of every signing, but we have to sign someone at right back.
Never seen him kick a football, ever. However, he can’t be any worse than Coleman, so welcome to Everton.

Let’s be honest, until James proves he can stay healthy (or stays an Evertonian), this team will run through Digne. Our biggest mistake was letting Walcott go without having a replacement because that allowed teams to camp our left side all game.
Dumfries from what I’ve heard fits the mold of somebody that will at least keep defenses honest if they don’t account for him. I think it’s time we finally went balls to the wall for a winger. An actual threat on the wing- a game winner. Richy is nice, but work rate only gets you so far.
And I would kill to have a midfield 3 or depth in the midfield that can actually control games. If James stays, it would still be wise to bring in another simply over his injury concerns or if we decide to play differently. I want to see a roster where I don’t see a name on the team sheet that absolutely embarrasses me.

Dumfries is at the EURO's and any deal for Everton takes 2x 48h for medicals, social media etc lol.
The only thing that is probably happening is that Brands will be sounding out agents & clubs about players and have a list ready for discussion with the new manager. Can't imagine any in/outs happen before that.

Would instantly be the best name at the club. Would he be the first Denzel to ever play for us? Hopefully the first of many!
