They will beat us comfortably there front three will pressure our defenders into mistakes and they will outscore us pretty easily, we haven't created a decent chance for 180 minutes 90 of those in a game where we had 72% possesion and still couldnt muster anything, they are a much better team.

Watched the games in a bar with side by side screens yesterday and I can confirm that they are a MUCH better team. Think the way we played against Newcastle, all the time.

To the people saying 'they aren't all that' and 'they miss loads of chances' - that's the difference between them winning 4-0, which they seem to regularly do, and winning 8-0 which they will do.

They attack with such intensity I'm very worried about us getting overrun.

They are up there because they deserve to be and the way we play it could get ugly.

They've never sustained that type of intensity this season.

I take it you watched them against Swansea, United, Southampton, Newcastle, Arsenal...they were all over the place. A complete shambles at times.

We'll win by a goal or two. I always look at CM in Derbies and I feel very confident we have a good edge there, with Barry and McCarthy over Lucas and Gerrard. They're not mobile at all in there and I can see Barkley getting away from those two with ease and dictating matters. Their CBs are a joke for me. Nowhere near as solid as ours can be. Lukaku has taken these ****s to the wood shed in the past and I think he'll be well up for this game. Upfront they have the sewer rat who can cause problems to anyone, obviously.

We need to do what Swansea did to them 2nd half in their match: get that ball knocked around with a lot of fizz on it and get our quality players on the ball and running at them. Look what Mirallas did to them last season in this fixture.

I hate derbies. probably the worst thing about them is how my head goes on one in the run up. I end up trying to reverse all the signs.
eg. The last couple of years we've often gone into the match in better form than them and with what could objectively be described as a better team. we've come out of those games with a feeling of disappointment. This year we've been awful in our last couple of games. We're all worried about that Spurs game space being allowed their players. we're worried about those Palace game chances falling to their players. So it's fairly obvious to me that we're going to batter them.

Or get battered by them.


Or outplay them and get done by the ref

Lucas is a much more experienced player than McCarthy and it's really a toss up between Barkley and Henderson(I'll give Barkley a slight edge there). Centre backs are roughly the same quality though Liverpool have a larger pool to choose from. Baines definitely the best LB but Johnson has to get the nod over Coleman
