0-0 or 2-2...a bad result for both teams. Arsenal vs Southampton and City v Spurs will be the other games of great interest. Good couch potato-ing weekend ahead (after the bull**** international break)

Any team with a reasonable midfield has prevented them supplying their only two good players. MCCarthy and Barry will ensure the same happens at Goodison.

I honestly expect us to win quite comfortably.

...And for the record, Barry is a better HOLDING midfielder than Gerrard. Hence why I have in in the middle of my 3 CMs.

Gerrard not better than either McCarthy or Barry accocrding to you...based on even this season's form that's just poor reasoning. Gerrard had a bad game against Arsenal but overall has been quite good...joint top of the assists charts. Coleman over Johnson is another bad shout. Even if you take into account this season's form ....picking 9 players from a team which is 3 points behind the team you picked only 2 from shows the bias mate

Like you did in the previous two seasons when Liverpool entered the Derby in poor form and you were flying??

Seriously the game will be close and no one can expect the other to have a comfortable win.

Tbf we battered you at Goodison last year and if the racist had've been sent off for trying to cripple two of our players we'd have taken all three points. You scored with a lucky deflection and the other one came from the dubiously awarded free kick, as did the correctly disallowed goal at the end.

Oh yeah we should've won at Anfield as well but Distin's legitimate goal was chalked off for unknown reasons.

AND... this year you'll have the most overrated player of all time in Lucas playing. Honestly, the lad is just awful and seeing you clueless muppets w*nking over him is the funniest thing on the interwebz.

EDIT - Oy yeah, Barry and McCarthy only signed this year.

If anyone fancies a drink and a chat after the derby I'll be in the royal oak on county road. Please come over and say hello.

What's your favourite brand of lolly ices mate?

Gerrard is a better footballer than McCarhty and Barry. Not arguing that, mate. From what I've seen this season I'd rather have the midfield 3 I picked. A major factor to Liverpool's success this season has been the strike duo, hence why they're both in my squad. Coleman is just as good as Johnson going forward and much better defensively.

World class strikers make the difference mate, in this case it's a 3 point difference.

Umm the first half of the Derby at Goodison was pretty evenly contested...we battered you in the first quarter, you did the same in the second. A tepid second half but we had the better chances and had a Suarez injury time goal chalked off for God knows what reason. The Anfield Derby was a forgettable affair tbh and the Distin non goal can be seen as a karma for that Suarez decision.

Talking about Lucas, he is back in the Brazilian national team now so can't be as awful and 'the most overrated player' in history if managers like Benitez and Scolari rate him along with Brendan
